Board Pictures and Bios Teddy Russell President Teddy Russell is and owner and the Chief Financial Officer for Russell Landscape Group, Inc. He received his BBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Teddy and Russell Landscape are very active within CAI Georgia as well as the Nashville, TN CAI chapter. Russell Landscape is a Platinum Sponsor for the Georgia Chapter of CAI. He has participated in CAI committees and events for the past seven years. Teddy serves on the board for the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Turf Grass Association, Georgia Urban Agriculture and UGA Young Alumni and he is a member of U.S. Green Building Council, BOMA, and MALTA. Teddy is married to Courtney and they have a son, William, and a daughter, Lucy. [ Back to top ] Kathy Dorough President Elect Kathy K. Dorough is a 1986 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the DeKalb County Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. Kathy began her legal career as a judicial clerk in the State Court of Fulton County. She later served as a senior staff attorney at the Georgia Court of Appeals. She is a graduate of Leadership DeKalb and was the editor of Georgia Commons for three years and has published numerous articles in that magazine. In addition to her practice at the firm, Kathy has served as a Magistrate Court Judge in DeKalb County since 1997. Kathy practices primarily in the area of community associations law. [ Back to top ] Chuck Negas Past President Chuck Negas is the Corporate Commercial Manager for Northwest Exterminating. Started in 1951, Northwest Exterminating is a family-owned full service termite and pest control company and is a Bronze Sponsor for the Georgia Chapter of CAI. Chuck has been with the company over ten years, starting as a technician and later working as an inspector. He also was the company’s first Quality Assurance Director and first Sentricon Department Manager. Chuck has served on the Membership Committee and other areas of CAI-Georgia and was the 2007 recipient of the Rita Kennedy Award. [ Back to top ] John Lueder Treasurer John Lueder is the founding member of The Lueder Law Firm, LLC located in Alpharetta. The firm specializes exclusively in community association law and currently employs seven attorneys and ten collection paralegals. John was licensed to practice law in Georgia in 1995. Most of John’s over twelve years of practice has been concentrated on community association law and litigation. John has also served on the board of directors for his last three homeowners associations, including serving as president and treasurer. From this experience, and from his experience as an attorney practicing community association law, John is in a unique position to provide both legal and practical advice to the firm’s community association clients. John earned his Bachelor Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate Degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 1995. [ Back to top ] Dan Ross Vice President Dan Ross is currently Santa at NorthPoint Mall and has held that position since 1997. Being Santa at NorthPoint has been a highlight in his life and he has helped increased the mall traffic considerably while attracting new families to the mall and being a positive force for the mall all year long. At present, he sees about 25,000 children each Christmas season. Dan is President of the Sutton Pines Condominium Association and has held that elected position for 10 years. During his tenure, he has helped to improve the outlook for all residents by decreasing crime in the area and listening to the resident’s needs. He led the charge for a major property renovation in 2000 which resulted in the property values doubling. He also saw the need to inform residents through the creation and distribution of a newsletter, The Sutton Times, which his wife Lolly, is the Editor. Dan also had a long and successful career with Pitney Bowes, working in the areas of sales and sales management for the company and retired from Pitney Bowes in 1996. [ Back to top ] Sandy Depa, CMCA, AMS, PCAM Secretary Sandy Depa, Vice President of Homeowner Management Services Inc., has worked in the community association management industry since 1999. Sandy has attained the PCAM designation and also holds the CMCA and AMS designations as a Community Association Manager. Prior to 1999, Sandy served as an HOA Board Member for five years, holding the positions of Treasurer, Vice President, and Secretary. Sandy has been actively involved with CAI since 2000. She co-chaired the Tennis Committee for two years and has also served on the Education Committee and Fundraising Committee. Sandy has been actively involved in several other organizations, including ALTA and the PTA and has a strong financial background in accounting and in the banking industry. [ Back to top ] Jenni Clemons, CMCA, AMS Director Jenni Clemons is Vice President of Management Services for Today Management. Prior to joining Today Management in 2004, she was a Marketing and Sales Development Manager for a $16 Million company. She has experience in multi-family and single family dwellings throughout the Atlanta market. Jenni also works with Atlanta’s top builders to develop budgets and set standards for developing communities and helps guide the properties through the turnover phase and beyond. Jenni previously served as the chair of the Fundraising Committee where she helped raise over $20,000 for the chapter in a single fundraising effort. She has been awarded the following designations through CAI: Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS). Jenni is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a major in Journalism and a minor in Math and Computer Engineering. [ Back to top ]
