rita kennedy award cai-georgia chapter HOAs

Every year, the Georgia Chapter of CAI presents the annual Rita Kennedy Award to the most deserving volunteer within our chapter. The award is a custom-made Frabėl and stands for Service, Commitment, and Dedication to CAI. It is presented at the Sponsor/Volunteer banquet at the end of the year.

History

Rita Kennedy served as Chapter Executive Director of the Georgia Chapter until she passed away from a long battle with cancer. Without her limitless and spirited devotion to CAI, we would not be as strong as we are today. Rita was the wheel from which all of our spokes emerged. Her enthusiasm, cheerfulness, generosity, and compassion made our chapter stand out from the rest. She held this organization together even through her hardest times. So, in honor of her service, commitment, and dedication, her husband Gary Kennedy and their children carry on her legacy by sponsoring this award to keep her spirit alive in our chapter.
