Committees

The CAI-Georgia Chapter consists of 10 committees and a budgetary task force. Each committee is lead by an industry leader that has been nominated and chosen by the Board of Directors because of their dedication and commitment to our chapter's mission. All committees consists of business partners, managers and homeowner leaders. All committees meet throughout the year. BUDGETARY TASK FORCE

The Budgetary Task Force helps create, monitor and guide the Board of Directors with the Chapter's annual budget including committee budgets.

CAI CARES COMMITTEE
The CAI Cares Committee, formerly known as helping hands, works throughout the year to better communities by hosting service oriented charitable tasks that bring our members together. 

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The Education Committee provides educational opportunities, including green initiatives, for Homeowner Leaders and Association Property Managers of CAI-Georgia to enhance knowledge and professionalism in the industry.  

EDUCATION SEMINAR COMMITTEE
The Education Seminar Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the annual education seminar held in February 2023. This is an all day seminar for managers to earn up to 6 CE Credits and is sponsored by business partners. There is a morning session, lunch, afternoon session, followed by a cocktail reception.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating an annual event to raise money to meet the specific ongoing needs of our organization and for our legislative efforts. 

GOLF COMMITTEE
The Golf Committee is responsible for planning, coordinating and securing sponsorships for the the annual CAI-Georgia Golf Classic.  The 24th Annual CAI-Georgia Classic will be held at Chateau Elan on October 24.

LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE {LAC}
LAC advocates throughout the year to improve the community association lifestyle and home values for a reasonable balance between state requirements and the ability of individual homeowners to govern their communities. 

MAGAZINE COMMITTEE
The Magazine Committee publishes the award-winning quarterly "Georgia Commons" which is distributed to all CAI-Georgia members.  

MEMBERSHIP OUTREACH COMMITTEE
This committee includes membership and public relation initiatives to promote the Georgia Chapter of CAI as a professional organization for community associations, association managers and their service providers. 

PROGRAM COMMITTEE
The Program Committee provides networking opportunities for all members through three professional luncheons throughout the year. The 2024 Signature Luncheon will be held at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, August Luncheon at Iberian Pig of Buckhead and the December Awards Luncheon at the Dunwoody Country Club.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE
The Social Committee plans a summer social event for all our members and future CAI members. This summer social will be held at Live! At the Battery on Thursday, June 20!
